We work with the finest property managers in each destination and decline far more homes than we accept. What remains is a select collection we would choose for our own families.
Around each stay we curate the rest: private chefs, days on the water, access that cannot be booked elsewhere, and advisors who know the collection intimately. Destination Blue gives each of our four houses shared standards, trusted partners and a long-term view, while each keeps the local knowledge guests remember most.

Destination Blue began in 2003 as a bootstrapped venture and has grown, without outside capital, into a profitable, debt-free company of four established houses. Every stage of that growth has been funded by the business itself, and every villa in our collection is held to the same exacting standard that has guided the company from the start.

Founded in 2003 and based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Destination Blue is an independent holding company and the house behind four luxury villa travel companies: Isle Blue, St Martin Blue, St Barts Blue and Barbados Blue. Its mission is to find and curate the extraordinary, from luxury villas to unique experiences built around the stay.
Does Destination Blue manage properties?
No. Destination Blue does not offer property management. About 95% of the villas in our collection are provided by property managers, who we partner with in each destination.
How are villas selected?
Every villa is vetted against a luxury standard: quality of accommodation, impeccable maintenance and a record of exemplary stays. We decline far more homes than we accept.
Where do the Destination Blue companies operate?
Isle Blue curates villas worldwide. St Martin Blue, St Barts Blue and Barbados Blue each specialize in their island.
